Hillier Blanc Block 130 Reserve 2021

Under 20 cases made. The fruit for this wine was hand harvested from our 2018 planting of Chardonnay registered as "Block 130".

• Picked from the warmest section of the vineyard
• Extra hang time was allowed until the clusters turned a golden colour.
• The wine was wild fermented, partially in barrel (60%) with the balance in steel.
• A full malolactic fermentation was achieved.  
• Bottled by hand in February of 2023
• No fining or filtering.

The wine is unlike any previous Last House Chardonnay, with rich fruit on the nose, a viscous mouth-feel and a solid acid spine. Great length!
