100% Estate Grown Pinot Noir, vineyard planted by Richard Karlo in 2009
- Hand-harvested fruit, 15kg totes
- Crushed & destemmed with 25% whole clusters added
- Spontaneous fermentation, alcoholic & malo
- 21 day cuvaison with thrice daily punch down
- Racked & pressed to barrels; 100% neutral
- Unfiltered & unfined
- Lightly sulphured after malo & at bottling
- Bottled in April of 2022
Tasting Notes
Light in colour but with a lifted wild strawberry nose and a refined delicate palate. Richer and more ruby coloured than the 2021 Petit Hillier Rouge. 11% ABV.
